Install DVD Decrypter.

Install DVD Decrypter: SetupDVDDecrypter_3.5.1.0.exe

PART 1 of 3 : Decrypting DVD to Hard Drive (C:\VIDEO_TS) (C:\DVDLabelPath\VIDEO_TS).

This is Part 1, Copying the DVD to the hard drive using DVD Decrypter. This is a quick process and takes around 15 Mins. You'll need about 10GB of free space to complete all 3 Parts. Once Part 1 is complete, we'll work with the files on the hard drive for Parts 2 and 3.

1. Insert DVD Film.

Insert a DVD Film and close any autorun applications that begin... Wait for 10 seconds...

You can now start DVD Decrypter...

2. Welcome Screen, Region Code and Protection.

Select your DVD Films Region Code
(SEE DVD BOX)

1. USA
2. Europe
3. Asia
4. Australia
5. Russia
6. China
7. -
8. -

Ingnor "Protection!"

and press OK.

3. Mode Selecting. Use IFO Mode. (Step 4).

Select
IFO Mode from the Menu Bar.

4. IFO Mode.

Select
Mode IFO from the Menu Bar.

Again -
3 VTS Groups...

(Video Title Set)

VTS_03

Each VTS will hold PGC's
(Program Chain)

The PGC is where the Film or Episode will be.



This DVD holds 3 films.

5. IFO Mode. Input TAB.

From the Input TAB select a PGC that holds the Film or Episode to be RIPPED.

(ONE PGC PER RIP)

This DVD holds 3 films. Each over 90 mins long.
1. 1H:31M:10S
2. 2H:06M:54S
3. 1H:41M:45S

Each of these Film has only 1 Chapter.
Some have 30+!

5a. IFO Mode. Input TAB.

NOTE:
PGC 2 is selected as this is the film.
PGC 1 is just an intro or menu.

NOTE:
The DVD label is used in the SAVE (Destination) Path.

The film duration is:
1hour
43mins
11secs.

5b. IFO Mode. Input TAB.

This time the film is in PGC 1.
PGC 2 to PGC 5 are menus and trailers.

X. Stream Processing TAB. (Streams for Video and Audio ONLY)

From the Stream Processing TAB select Enable Stream Processing only if you want to deselect streams.

(DEFAULT IS ALL STREAMS RIPPED)

This PGC holds 2 streams.
Video and Audio.
0xE0 Video PAL
0xC0 Audio (Stereo)

Some PGC have many streams including subtitles.
Some have 10+!

X. Stream Processing TAB. (Streams for MULTI-Audio and Subtitiles)

This DVD is the film
Being There
NTSC
Region 1.

It has 2 Audio Streams and several subtitle streams.

Becuase it has a Label the DVD will be ripped to:
D:\BEING_THERE
\VIDEO_TS\

Make sure you have enough space on your destination hard drive.

6. Start Decryption...

The quickest method is, select the PGC that holds the Movie or Episode you want to rip (just check TIME LENGTH against episode or film).

All Chapters will be selected by default
(also: Language Audio streams and subtitles).

Now press the "Decrypt" button.

Watch the progress in the Log Window.

7. Progress and Decryption Window and Log...

The Decryption only takes 5MINs to 10MINs.

Read the Destination, Information and Log area.

The result of this rip will be in the sub folder of BEING_THERE, the VIDEO_TS folder.

7a. Progress Window and Log...

This is the DVD from Step 6 without protection or a Label.

Read the Destination, Information and Log area.

The result of this rip will be in the VIDEO_TS folder.

8. Decryption Complete.

Once the decryption/RIP is complete you can either close DVD Decrypter or choose another VTS or PGC from the same DVD or insert another.

X. Repeat.

You can continue the Decryption/RIP on another VTS or PGC within the same VTS.

Although the PATH will be the same the destination file names will be differrent.

You will not loose a rip by over-writing.
